Freeze-thaw cycle helps clear potatoes left in P.E.I. fields after fall harvest

The weather may feel like the enemy to many P.E.I. farmers who left almost 7,000 acres of potatoes in the ground last fall. But this winter's freeze and thaw cycle has actually helped to eliminate what could have been a major problem.
