Physicists at Large Hadron Collider get first ever glimpse of new particle Xi cc

Physicists at the Large Hadron Collider in Europe find a new type of baryon particle which had long been predicted, but never seen. As a baryon particle, Xi cc is a subatomic particle composed of quarks. Scientists hope it may further our understanding of a matter binding key force.
