Banjo away the blues: Father and son sing through the flurries

If you can't beat an April snow storm, you might as well go out and sing about it. David Thomson and his 14-year-old son Austin braved the snow squalls outside their Lewisporte, N.L., home Monday to sing about the wintry scene. "Beautiful spring day in central Newfoundland!" Austin Thomson said on the video, which was viewed nearly 50,000 times as of Monday afternoon. The Thomsons lament the late winter storm in I Really Hate Snow, which was written by the younger Thomson, who strums the guitar.
